Refund Policy

Effective May 19, 2025

Washington Moving Experts is committed to providing reliable, professional service. We stand behind our work and strive to ensure every customer is satisfied. Our refund policy reflects the nature of moving and related services, where labor, logistics, and time are reserved in advance.

1. Refund Eligibility

Refunds are available only in cases where services were not rendered due to cancellation by Washington Moving Experts or verifiable scheduling error.

If a customer cancels a service with at least 48 hours’ notice, any deposit will be refunded in full.

If cancellation occurs within 24–48 hours of the scheduled move, a partial refund may be issued at our discretion.

No refunds are given for cancellations made within 24 hours of the appointment time.

2. Deposit Policy

Some jobs may require a deposit to reserve a specific time/date.

Deposits are applied to the final invoice unless the job is canceled per the terms above.

3. Service Issues or Disputes

If you believe our team did not meet the agreed terms or there was a problem with your service:

Please contact us within 3 business days of your move.

We’ll review the situation and work with you toward a fair resolution, which may include a refund, partial credit, or correction of service.

4. Non-Refundable Situations

We do not offer refunds for:

  • Labor already completed

  • Time spent waiting due to customer delays

  • Damage to items not packed by Washington Moving Experts

  • Junk removal fees for accepted and hauled items
